Team
Dr. Dimitri G. Ganim
A graduate of Providence College and
Georgetown Dental School, Dr. Ganim continues to take frequent continuing
education courses to stay abreast of today's dentistry. As a past member of the RI State Board
of Dental
Examiners, and long time member of the Northeast Board of Dental Examiners,
he continues to evaluate recent dental graduates for clinical competency before
their licensure.
Dr. Ganim has been a member of the Rhode Island, Pawtucket,
New England, and American Dental Associations, and the American College of
Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy dental honor societies.
Dr. Rodney P. Thomas
Dr. Thomas is a Board Certified Endodontist.
Dr. Thomas provides root ca nal procedures to our patients with the expertise and
quality of care
that we are proud to have as part of our practice. Dr. Thomas is also a past
member of the RI State Board of Dental Examiners and an active member of the
Northeast Board of Dental Examiners.
Dr. Thomas has distinguished himself,
academically, professionally, and to his patients.
I am very fortunate to have assembled a great group of
people who truly enjoy both working together and serving you. Sometimes the
tasks we perform can be very difficult and stressful
and
knowing this, they make every effort to minimize this anxiety and make
things as easy for you as possible. They work as a team to help strengthen
all aspects of your relationship with us. In short, they all share the same
philosophy of practice and of treating people, and strive to make your
experience as pleasant as possible.

Assistants
Beth
Beth has been
certified dental assistant for almost 20 years, and has been working with Dr.
Ganim
since he r certification by the Community College of Rhode Island’s Dental
Assisting Program. As a dental assistant, Beth helps Dr. Ganim with daily dental
procedures and enjoys Dr. Ganim’s sense of humor, meeting patients, and working
closely with the staff members through the years she has been a part of our
team. Always smiling and friendly, Beth’s calm and caring demeanor helps put
even the most apprehensive patient to ease. Her hard work, competence and
experience with dental care ensure that the highest standard of dentistry is
consistently achieved by our office.
Beth enjoys traveling
and spending time with her family, relaxing, and cooking.
Diane
Diane has been a
certified dental assistant for 27 years, and has worked in our office for 16 of
those years. She is a graduate of
the Community College of Rhode Island’s Dental Assisting Program. As an expanded
functions assistant, she enjoys chair side assisting with Drs. Ganim and Thomas,
and gladly helps with front desk duties, as well. Friendly, compassionate, and
skilled, Diane works hard to achieve the high quality of care our office is
proud to provide. She finds dentistry both challenging and rewarding, with the
knowledge that exceptional treatment and regular oral care result in healthier
teeth and confident smiles.
Diane enjoys
vacationing with her husband and three daughters, leisure reading, baking, and
she loves Greek food!
Registered Dental
Hygienist
Marilyn
Marilyn has been a registered dental
hygienist for many years having graduated from
Springfield Technical Community College, first from the De ntal Assisting Program
followed by the Dental Hygiene Program. While working as a Hygienist, she
attended and graduated from Newbury College with her Bachelor of Science Degree
in Health Care Administration.
Marilyn enjoys new
learning experiences and continues to attend educational seminars in dental
hygiene to stay current in the latest advances in dental care. She joined Dr.
Ganim’s team in 2004. Marilyn enjoys working with Dr. Ganim and all the staff
members: “It is wonderful to work in a professional, friendly, and genuinely
caring atmosphere where together as a team we provide quality dentistry for
people of all ages!” She always greets her patients with a smile, and they may
get a glimpse of her sense of humor! Her goal is to put each patient at ease and
work as their dental partner toward achieving and maintaining optimum oral
health. This is done through patient education, gentle treatment methods and
quality patient service.
Marilyn
enjoys sailing with her husband and friends, beading jewelry, gardening, and
reading. She loves animals (especially her dog) the outdoors and…oh yes-
chocolate!
Office Personnel
Jane
Jane has been a
member of Dr. Ganim’s team for the past four
years, with several years of previous experience. She specializes in Insurance
Adminis tration and Patient Scheduling, with the utmost attention, ability and
thoughtfulness. One will commonly see Jane multi-tasking between office
managerial duties, insurance claims, patient scheduling and friendly
conversation with other staff members or patients. Her organizational ability,
sharp-witted sense of humor, and compassionate demeanor make her a crucial
member of the office team!
Jane enjoys spending
time with her children and staying active; she loves summer and the outdoors. If
you ever want to say “Thank You,” don’t hesitate to send chocolate!
Judy
Judi is the newest
member of the team here at Dr. Ganim’s office, joining on just a
year and a half ago. Judi has nine years of previous experience with office
management at other dental practices, and at Dr. Ganim’s specializes in Patient
Coordination and other administrative duties. Judi is adept at multi-tasking
between office management issues, communication between other offices and
specialists, and scheduling your appointment with a genuine concern for your
agenda. Highly organized, professional, friendly and helpful, Judi is an
exceptional member of the office team!
Judi enjoys cooking,
reading, and attending her children’s athletic events. She also shares Jane’s
deep appreciation for chocolate and an equally sharp wit, necessary for daily
interactions with Dr. Ganim‘s interminable sense of humor.
